In de late jaren 1970 ontmoet de actrice en idealiste Charlie op vakantie in Griekenland de mysterieuze Becker. Snel wordt duidelijk dat hij niet de man is als wie hij zich voordoet. Hij wil een Palestijnse terrorist vermoorden en gebruikt Charlie om dit doel te bereiken. Charlie komt in een complex web terecht, een intrige bedacht door het meesterbrein Kurtz. Charlie neemt de rol van dubbelspion op zich terwijl ze onzeker is over wie ze trouw is.
