In een wereld waar al tientallen jaren superhelden wonen, merkt een accountant zonder krachten dat een dood gewaande superschurk de stad beheerst. In zijn strijd dit complot te ontrafelen, werkt hij samen met een vreemde, blauwe superheld. Samen gaan ze een avontuur aan vol gestoorde aartsvijanden, bloedige wrekers, gestoorde wetenschap en bovennatuurlijke, bizarre gebeurtenissen.
